What is an Interventionist?
An interventionist is a teacher who helps students that struggle academically. Typically, students are taken out of the classroom in small groups to receive more individual attention. Interventionists work with students who fall into the Tier III category of RTI. An interventionist may also help students who struggle with reading, math, and writing.
